Breaking: Chelsea vs Real Madrid in Champions League quarter-final with semi-final revealed

Following Real Madrid’s 2021/22 European victory, Chelsea will face Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal for the second consecutive season.
For the second consecutive year, Chelsea will play Real Madrid in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League.
Los Blancos, the current European champions who defeated the Blues in the last eight around a year ago, will take on the Blues after they defeated Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16. Madrid recently defeated Liverpool 6-2 overall in the round of 16.
Before the pivotal match at Stamford Bridge, the two will clash in the Santiago Bernabeu for the first leg. The winner of this match will face the winner of Manchester City’s match against Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid’s performance against Liverpool the previous time around demonstrated how well they perform on the biggest stage, making this a very challenging draw for Chelsea. Los Blancos are one of the favorites to win the European championship for the 15th time this season after winning it a record-tying 14 times.
Last season, when Chelsea faced the Madrid-based team, the visitors won the first leg 3-1 at Stamford Bridge thanks to a spectacular hat-trick from Karim Benzema. Mason Mount, Antonio Rudiger, and Timo Werner scored as the Blues won the second leg at the Bernabeu, although the final score was 5-4 on aggregate due to Benzema’s extra-time winner for the Spanish team.
In another exciting match, Man City will play Bayern Munich, with Pep Guardiola facing off against his old team. The victor of that match will play either Chelsea or Real Madrid in the semifinals.
In the quarterfinals, AC Milan will play Napoli, another Italian team, while Inter Milan will play Benfica. The semi-final will feature the winners of those matches.
