In a grand show of support for Ghanaian music and entrepreneurship, prominent businessman Richard Nii Armah Quaye has made headlines after purchasing the first copy of music executive Richie Mensah’s new book for a staggering GH¢200,000.

The purchase took place during the official launch of Richie Mensah’s much-anticipated book, held in Accra over the weekend. The event attracted top industry players, creatives, entrepreneurs, and fans eager to celebrate the legacy and insights of one of Ghana’s most influential music producers.

Richard Nii Armah Quaye, CEO of Quick Angels Limited and a known patron of creative and entrepreneurial ventures, surprised guests when he made the first bid for the book and went all in with a GH¢200,000 offer—sending the room into rapturous applause.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Quaye emphasized the importance of investing in knowledge and supporting Ghanaian creatives. “Richie has played a pivotal role in shaping the sound of modern Ghanaian music. His story is not just about beats and lyrics—it’s about leadership, innovation, and resilience. This book will inspire generations,” he said.

Richie Mensah, founder of Lynx Entertainment, has been instrumental in the careers of celebrated artists like Kuami Eugene, KiDi, MzVee, and ASEM. His book chronicles his journey through the evolving Ghanaian music industry, blending personal stories with lessons on leadership, branding, and building a legacy.

The event wasn’t just a book launch—it was a celebration of Ghanaian excellence, filled with musical performances, heartfelt tributes, and moments that highlighted Richie’s impact on the industry.
