The National Identification Authority (NIA) has officially announced the resumption of Ghana Card printing services nationwide after resolving recent technical issues that temporarily disrupted the process.

In a press statement released on March 5, 2026, the NIA reassured the public that the problems affecting the printing of the national identification card have been thoroughly addressed.

With this development, printing services are now back up and running at all NIA offices throughout the country.

The interruption was attributed to technical complications that briefly hindered the production process. Although the NIA did not elaborate on the specific nature of these challenges, they confirmed that all issues have been resolved, allowing normal operations to continue.

The NIA expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and understanding during this period of disruption, acknowledging the inconvenience caused and thanking citizens for their cooperation as the authority worked to rectify the problems.
