Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Amewuga has expressed heartfelt appreciation to popular content creator and CEO of Kwadwo Sheldon Studios, Kwadwo Sheldon, for his significant role in propelling his music career.

In a recent appearance on the Uncut Show with award-winning blogger Zionfelix monitored by yocharley.com, Amewuga—born Bodjah Anthony Kwesi Amewuga—shared how Sheldon’s unwavering support marked a turning point in his journey.

The 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards Unsung Artiste of the Year recounted leaving his hometown, Sefwi Wiawso, in 2020 to chase his dreams in Accra. With no connections in the music industry, he took on work as a studio cleaner at Cola Beats Studio, hoping for a chance to record his songs.

Amewuga revealed that when his early songs were released, it was Kwadwo Sheldon who noticed his potential. Sheldon not only reacted to the tracks on his popular YouTube channel but also broke them down for audiences, helping fans appreciate the lyrical depth of Amewuga’s music.

“He was the only one who picked up my songs, analyzed them, and showed the world what I was capable of,” Amewuga stated. “That gave me the exposure I needed and set me on the right path.”

The “Yie” hitmaker concluded by saying he would always remain grateful to Sheldon for the critical role he played in shaping his rise to stardom.
