Here’s a rewritten version of the news article:

Veteran Ghanaian actor Seth Kwabena Kyere Karikari, popularly known as Koo Fori, made another appearance at the Dansoman Circuit Court on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in connection with his ongoing alleged $50,000 fraud case.

Koo Fori, who appeared in high spirits, was seen smiling and chatting with security officers as he exited the courtroom. The case, however, has been adjourned to a later date.

The Bryt TV General Manager was arrested on Friday, May 9, 2025, after being accused of defrauding a US-based Ghanaian business mogul of $50,000. A viral video showing Koo Fori in handcuffs being escorted by police officers to the Accra Central Police Command quickly spread across social media, sparking public interest in the case.

According to reports, Koo Fori allegedly collected the substantial amount from a Ghanaian based in California, promising to invest the funds on the person’s behalf. However, he reportedly failed to honour his commitment and became unreachable.

After allegedly ignoring multiple requests to refund the money, Koo Fori also missed a scheduled court appearance at the Dansoman District Court on April 17, 2025. This prompted the court to issue a bench warrant for his arrest.

Following his eventual arrest, Koo Fori was granted bail on Monday, May 12, 2025, set at GH₵320,000 with sureties. During his first court appearance, he pleaded not guilty to the fraud allegations, and the court subsequently revoked the earlier bench warrant issued against him.

The case has since been adjourned, and proceedings are expected to continue at a later date.
