The Indiana Pacers (Pacers) who have been shocking basketball fans this NBA playoffs have pulled off another wonder, winning the finals game 6 taking them to the finals of the game 7 series. This will determine the NBA playoffs finals champions.
The Pacers first shocked millions of fans when they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (Cavs) – 4 to 1. The Cavs have been leading in the Eastern Conference for a while now, having won 64 games and lost 18 games this 2024/2025 season, while the Pacers have won 50 games and lost 32 games; so their loss was a surprise. Especially them losing to the pacers came as a shock.
They have been playing a tight back-to-back game against Oklahoma City Thunders (OKC) in a 7 game series with them winning this final game to tie the match up. Game 7 which is happening on Sunday is going to determine the play offs champion and mark a major milestone for each franchise since it would be either both teams first.
The Game 5 which went badly for the Pacers is now looking up as they have won game 6, had they lost this match the OKC would be the playoffs champions but the Pacers fighting spirit and versatility has kept them in this series for the final match.
Many on the internet have been claiming the Pacers have been speculating dark magic to win and during their pregame a video surfacing is convincing many that it might be true.
They have proved time and time again why they deserve to be in this championship fight. Their resilience, understanding of the game and their chemistry has pivoted them to this position.
This is going to be the first game 7 since 2016, it’s going to be a historic game.
