Google has announced the rollout of AI Mode in Search, introducing the Canvas feature to users across the United States. This new addition creates a dedicated workspace within the AI-integrated search tool, enhancing users’ ability to organize plans, generate documents, and create tools efficiently.

Initially launched as part of the Gemini app, Canvas allows users to develop documents and code collaboratively in real-time. The feature saw an initial phase focusing solely on visualizing travel plans but has since expanded its applications. Now, users can harness Canvas to facilitate creative writing and coding tasks, benefiting from an AI-produced dashboard that organizes information relevant to their prompts and can even prototype interactive tools.

To access this innovative feature, simply navigate to AI Mode in Search, click the “plus” button within the chat interface, and select Canvas. Users can then input their desired creation, and Google will display the results in a dedicated panel on the right side of the screen. Currently, the Canvas feature is only available in English, marking a significant step in making AI assistance more accessible.

Stay tuned for more updates as Google continues to enhance the functionality of its search tools with cutting-edge AI capabilities.
