Nollywood actor John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, is afraid of losing his limb.
The actor revealed in a video appeal for public support that he is battling a condition that could result in one of his legs being amputated.
Mr Ibu claims he has been in the hospital for several weeks. The actor claims in a video uploaded on social media that he needs prayers and financial aid from the public since doctors have advised him that he requires quick treatment or risk losing his limb.
His daughter, Jasmine Okafor, who also talked in the video, stated that they have ran out of funds, necessitating the public appeal.

Numerous actors’ supporters have heard about the appeal, including Peter Okoye of P Square. Peter stated in a message on social media:
“Mr. Ibu (John Okafor), one of our own, needs our assistance as he faces a medical problem. Our Nollywood legends deserve more, and now is the time for us, the audience, to thank him for everything that he has done to make our screens happy throughout the years.
I promise to support him wholeheartedly, and I sincerely hope you will do the same in whatever small way you can. He needs our prayers and financial assistance during this difficult time. wishing for his quick recovery. Our dear veteran, may God give you complete healing,” he said.

At a hospital, Mr. Ibu celebrated his 62nd birthday as well. In a message on Instagram, Jasmine Okafor wrote: “Happy birthday, Daddy @realmribu! That we are celebrating you today from the hospital bed hurts my heart. My prayer for you today is that God will provide you with Divine healing, good health, and many more years of happiness. You put up a solid fight over the past two weeks, and you’re still standing strong. We are available to you! Victory is certain. a quick recovery, papa.
