Mr. Ampaw, who has been known as “Che Che” since he was a student at the University of Ghana, also served on the legal team for the New Patriotic Party in the 2013 Electoral Petition.
Akufo-Addo’s law firm, Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co., counts him as a partner.
Ampaw has a sterling reputation in the legal community, particularly for his support of just justice and human rights initiatives.
He earned his LL.B. from the University of Ghana in 1973 as well as his B.L. from the Ghana School of Law in 1993.
