Shatta Wale’s recent dispute with Ghanaian radio broadcaster Kwasi Aboagye has escalated.
The conflict began when Aboagye claimed on his Entertainment Review show that Shatta Wale had lied about being paid £80,000 for his performance at the Ghana Music Awards UK. In response to these allegations, Shatta Wale released a video expressing his disappointment and directed some criticism towards Aboagye and his wealthy superiors.
Shatta Wale’s performance at the Ghana Music Awards UK stirred up considerable amount of drama online, primarily due to the payment claim. Kwasi Aboagye, a local broadcaster, refuted Shatta Wale’s claims that he received £80,000 for his performance.

The dispute not only involved Shatta Wale but also roped in the CEO of Alordia Promotions, the production company behind the awards. Shatta Wale responded on Empire FM, expressing disappointment at the undervaluation of Ghanaian music and defending his £80,000 performance fee as justifiable.

However, it’s important to note that some fans have criticized Shatta Wale for resorting to insults in his response to Kwasi Aboagye and his superiors, Fadda Dickson and Kwasi Aboagye.
