Asamoah Gyan’s wife had been married before and still went ahead to marry him without informing him, Baffour remarked on Asempa FM.
Baffour Gyan has said that his brother Asamoah Gyan had to annul his marriage after discovering Gifty Gyan was married to both him and another man at the same time.
Gifty, he claims, did not inform Gyan that she was already married and proceeded to have a “double marriage” with the former Black Stars captain.
“Asamoah Gyan’s wife had been married before and still went ahead to marry him without informing him,” Baffour remarked on Asempa FM.
“When Asamoah found out, he took the matter to court and asked for the marriage to be annulled if it turned out that his wife was already married to another man.”
Finally @ASAMOAH_GYAN3 brother has spoken. The victory is rather on their side and Gyan has been Vindicated by the DNA. Congratulations champ✌️✌️🔥🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/HVFQlS2pl5

“The ruling came today, and the court discovered that Gifty had been married, and according to Ghanaian law, a woman cannot be married to two men at the same time.” As a result, the court declared the marriage null and void.”
Gyan and Gifty were once in love, but their relationship was irreparably destroyed, resulting in a terrible divorce.
Gyan filed for divorce in the Matrimonial Division of the High Court in Accra in 2018, bringing the couple’s marriage to public attention.
The former Black Stars captain then questioned the authenticity of his three children and ordered a DNA paternity test on each of them to determine the truth.
After a five-year legal battle, the court eventually decided on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, that Gyan Is the
biological father of Gifty Gyan’s three children.
The court ordered the ex-Sunderland striker to pay his ex-wife GHc25,000 every month for their
children’s welfare and upkeep. School fees, medical bills, dental care fees,
airline tickets, and other costs associated with raising children are not included
in the aforementioned figure. The court also awarded Gyan’s ex-wife compensation for his house in the UK and another four-bedroom
apartment in Ghana.
