Nana Aba Anamoah’s Fiery Response to NDC Critics Over EIB Job.

Nana Aba Anamoah’s recent career move sparked both excitement and controversy. After her transition from the General Manager position at EIB Network, she assumed the role of Director of Business Development.

This shift was announced in a press statement on October 26, 2023. Simultaneously, Nana Yaa Serwaa Sarpong was introduced as the new General Manager for the English Cluster.

Prior to this development, Nana Aba faced criticism related to her new children’s show, “Actual Bosses,” which aired on GH One TV. The show’s discussions and comments made by the children generated some controversy. Notably, when the kids were shown photos of former President John Dramani Mahama, some expressed that he reminded them of the era of Dumsor (erratic power supply) in Ghana.

These comments didn’t sit well with some supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who believed the show was intentionally damaging Mahama’s image. They argued that the show should have also highlighted his efforts in resolving the Dumsor issue during his tenure.

With EIB Network owned by Kwabena Duffour, an influential figure in the NDC, rumors circulated that the controversy surrounding the show may have led to Nana Aba’s departure from the General Manager role at GH One TV.
