The Ghana Police Service has arrested Samuel Amadotor, a blogger with Dklassgh.net, for allegedly publishing false information about the former Board Chair of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Okatakye Boakye Danquah Ababio II.
According to a police statement dated 20th November 2025, Amadotor was picked up with support from the National Signals Bureau (NSB) following a formal complaint lodged by the former board chair.
Investigators say the suspect admitted to the offence during interrogation and reportedly named one Chairman Michael Yeboah as the individual who contracted him to publish the false story. Police say efforts are underway to locate Michael Yeboah to assist with investigations.
Samuel Amadotor is currently in custody and is expected to be arraigned before court on 21st November 2025.
The statement was signed by Chief Inspector Brigitte Babanawo, Public Relations Officer for the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
