Inter Miami CF has officially unveiled the name of their new stadium: Nu Stadium. This announcement comes as part of a partnership with Nu, a digital financial service platform. The stadium is part of the Miami Freedom Park project, which is set to open in April 2026, after some delays in construction.
The partnership, described as a “multiyear” deal, marks a significant milestone for the club, which has been eagerly awaiting the launch of this new venue after a long build-up. Located at Miami Freedom Park, Nu Stadium is expected to host a variety of events, including Major League Soccer matches and concerts, making it a focal point for sports and entertainment in the region.
Jorge Mas, co-owner of Inter Miami, expressed his excitement about the new venue. He emphasized that the stadium represents Inter Miami’s commitment to setting new standards in the world of soccer. “Inter Miami was built to redefine what’s possible in fútbol,” Mas stated. Highlighting the ethos of the partnership, he remarked that both Inter Miami and Nu share a visionary mindset aimed at creating something extraordinary for fans.
Beyond just the stadium naming rights, Nu will also feature on the back of Inter Miami’s jerseys. This collaboration extends to establishing a dynamic community hub within the stadium, aiming to foster a strong connection between fans and the team.
As the team prepares for its home opener against Austin FC on April 4, anticipation continues to grow for the debut of Nu Stadium. With its multifaceted offerings and community focus, the stadium promises to be more than just a home for soccer—it aims to be a vibrant epicenter for the Miami community.
