Dancehall star Shatta Wale has issued a public apology to Ghanaian hypeman and MC Kojo Manuel following an onstage incident at Tidal Rave 2025.
A video from the event, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, shows Shatta Wale’s Personal Assistant, Abonko, instructing Kojo Manuel to leave the stage shortly after he introduced the dancehall artiste. The move appeared abrupt, sparking conversations across social media, with many questioning what led to the moment.
In a post on X, Shatta Wale addressed the situation:
“Kojo Manuel, so sorryyy… Abonko is the nicest person ever, but when it comes to my work, he is my second-in-command. Sorry he pushed you, but next time just know it when an artiste and their team step on stage I beg you.”
He added that his intention was not to disrespect Kojo Manuel but to protect the structure and flow of the performance.
