According to revelations by the network, Sommie leapt from her Katampe residence after hearing that about 14 armed robbers had invaded the building. Though she survived the fall, she sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Maitama District Hospital.
Arise News reported that she was rejected at the hospital, with staff allegedly insisting on identification before providing urgent medical treatment. This delay, the station suggests, may have contributed to her death.
