10 things I hate about you directed by Gil Junger is about Kat Stratford a determined independent student and the sister to a popular girl in the High School Bianca Stratford. Their father Dr. Stratford is a strict father and doesn’t allow dating.
In 10 things I hate about you their father tells Bianca she can date once her Kat is also in a relationship knowing very well Kat has no plans of dating.
Bianca tells Cameron James a new student who tutors her French about this predicament pushing Cameron to concoct a plan.
Cameron and his friend Michael plan to pay Patrick one of the scariest kids in school to go out with Kat. The only problem is they don’t have the money so the influence Joey who Bianca has a crush on to pay Patrick making it seem like it’s an idea of Joey’s.
The plan on going Kat plays hard to get and in the end she gives in. She finds out at prom that Joey paid Patrick storming out angrily. Kat comes to class reading a poem on “10 things I hate about you” which seems more like a love poem.
Patrick explains as a result of her poem with a guitar she loved from the money Joey paid him, they move on to date.
To conclude “10 things I hate about you” is an 8.5/10 a solid romantic movie with twists and turn.
