Pusha T Has Beef With Travis Scott

Rapper Pusha T has reignited tensions in the hip-hop world, this time taking direct aim at fellow artist Travis Scott, calling him a “wh***” in a fiery new interview and backing it up with a blistering verse on a freshly released track.

The controversial comments surfaced just hours after Pusha T, whose real name is Terrence LeVarr Thornton, dropped a new song titled “So Be It” alongside his brother No Malice. The track marks the latest release from their revived rap duo Clipse, which rose to prominence in the early 2000s with hits like Grindin’.
In “So Be It,” Pusha T doesn’t mention Travis Scott by name, but his sharp lyrics and subsequent remarks leave little doubt about who the bars are directed at. Fans immediately connected the dots, especially given the track’s timing and tone.

Only hours later, Pusha confirmed the speculation in a candid interview, labeling Scott a “wh***” and doubling down on his critique. While he didn’t elaborate extensively on the source of the conflict, insiders speculate the rift may stem from industry politics and behind-the-scenes power plays involving mutual collaborators like Kanye West.
“So Be It” also marks a notable moment for Clipse, who haven’t released new music together in years. The track’s gritty tone and aggressive delivery are a return to form for the Virginia duo, known for their unapologetic bars and raw commentary on fame, loyalty, and authenticity in hip-hop.

Social media lit up following the release, with fans and critics dissecting lyrics and questioning the motivation behind the diss. Some praised Pusha T’s unapologetic style and lyrical sharpness, while others viewed the attack on Travis Scott as unprovoked or excessive.

Travis Scott has not yet responded publicly to either the track or the interview, but given the high profile nature of the feud, many expect a reply either on record or online.

This latest clash adds another chapter to Pusha T’s long-standing reputation as one of hip-hop’s most strategic and unforgiving lyricists. Whether Travis Scott fires back or stays silent, it’s clear that “So Be It” has reignited old-school rap beef energy in a genre increasingly focused on image and charts.

As Clipse hint at more music on the way, fans are watching closely to see whether this feud will fade or fuel another round of lyrical warfare.
