Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia has stirred controversy after making bold claims about male sexuality and monogamy during a candid chat on the Mzansi Podcast.
According to 2Face, while men can feel love, respect, and emotional commitment, they are not biologically wired for sexual exclusivity.
“A man is not built to be with one woman… sexually, it’s impossible. It’s a natural thing,” he said.
He emphasized that this view was personal, not a universal truth, but one he believes could help reduce heartbreak and unnecessary stress in relationships.
“I’m going to talk for myself, I’m not going to talk about you,” he added.
2Face also acknowledged the emotional depth men can experience, saying:
“Man fit love woman die… everything na this woman,” while still stressing the conflict between emotional loyalty and sexual instinct.
