Ghanaian actress Fella Makafui is set to premiere her new movie Serwaa, which features her ex-husband, rapper Medikal, more than a year after their highly publicized divorce.
On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, Fella shared the official trailer of Serwaa on her Instagram page, announcing that the film will premiere on YouTube via the Farmhouse Productions channel on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Originally released exclusively on the Farmhouse Productions app in 2023, Serwaa is a spin-off of the popular Ghanaian TV series YOLO.
The movie also stars comedian Clemento Suarez, content creator Fahim Dumba, and award-winning dancehall star Shatta Wale, who makes a special cameo appearance.
In her post, Fella expressed her excitement about bringing Serwaa to a wider audience, writing:
“2 days more to go. 😂😂😂. She was just a village girl until the city called. What happens when innocence meets ambition? Serwaa premieres June 27 on Farmhouse Productions YouTube. Stay tuned.”
The upcoming release has sparked curiosity among fans, particularly because of Fella and Medikal’s onscreen reunion following their separation.
