Caitlin Clark who is a point guard that has faced a lot of scrutiny and controversy since she got into the WNBA is now trending on social media after her game on Tuesday.
The game which was Indiana Fever versus Connecticut Sun got heated after Caitlin had the ball in the 4th quarter and Jacy Sheldon poked her in eye
Caitlin goes on to push of Jacy’s arm telling her off and Marina Mabrey goes onto shove Caitlin on the ground, immediately Sophie Cunningham realizes this she comes to Caitlin’s aid.
In the next play Jacy hit a fast break= was about to hit a layup, immediately Sophie grabs her by the head and shoved her onto the ground. The Sun’s team charge on Sophie and some fever teammates come to her rescue. Sophie was ejected after the altercation occurred
This made a lot of WNBA fans excited because Caitlin finally has a teammate who is readily available and ready to step in when other spiteful players try to attack her. With Sophie’s jersey’s being sold out everywhere after the game, she is also being fined by the WNBA for “on court violence”.
Caitlin Clark has proven time and time again why she is one of the best players in the WNBA amounting so many fans most of them being men.
